About Me
I am a runner. I love to run - I hate that my butt jiggles when I do so. I run to inspire my daughter and stay svelte for my husband - but mostly I run for myself. I reluctantly and obsessively weigh myself five times a day. I insist my L & R iPod headphones are in their respective ears. I blog to keep me on track physically, mentally, and to remind myself not to spend all my money on shoes - at least not the running kind.

I'm hating speed work ... yours of course will be fun and feel like a warm hug in a field of wildflowers on a sunny day. Enjoy!
Looking good Sus. Is that a tatoo on your ankle??
You look hawt... I mean, Cold! :) I'm sensing a black & white theme here, yes?
Good luck on the speed-work... I'm all about the zone 1-2 stuff right now, and it's niiiiice.
Way to go ladies!
hot stuff! great pics!
Great job!! Was it really too cold to hold out there???
solid race. well done!
Hey,way to go! And *I* started speed work today, too.
speed work-more fun to talk about than to do. Helpful? Hmmm
Nice job Runner Susan!! I imagine it was a bit colder based on your outfit?
Speedwork is addictive once you get started. Promise.
And what is that tatoo on your ankle? Was there a martini involved?
if it makes you feel better, i did a self-10k a few months ago. i had about the same time as you (as in, within a minute or two)... for 3.1 miles LESS. LOL... next time you think you are slow, come pay me a visit! ;)
cute picture, btw!
Speedwork is good!
speed work got me injured last time round (ok, so did higher mileage)
Any race completed is an achievement to be proud of. Do some speed work for me while you are there!
Good job!! You got out there and tried!! That's the point.
way to go on the race. 15k in January impresses the hell out of me. I have trouble just getting out the door.
Good time Susan. For a slow poke like me that a solid finish.
Great pics! Looks like it was a cold morning out there.
What kind of iPod Nano band do you have, BTW? And how do you like it for running? I've been in the market for one, but can't seem to find one out there that I like...
Those Brooks are looking good!
Where's the snow Susan? Can't be that cold.
Some dedicated speed work will fix that 'Bleh time'!
Nice pics! Way to go Susan! 1:32 is nothing to sneeze at! Awesome!
