Exposed

It's amazing what a new pair of shoes (or two) and a good decongestant will do for a girl. I had a good run today. Well, no, not really. It was more of a run/walk, but when I was running - I was running at a decent pace and it felt good. Finally. The walking was to expel phlegm and prevent me from vomiting. I vomit easily. It's a gift. 9.26 Miles in 1:38:26, 10:37/mi, 1080 calories burned, AHR 170. The heart rate was still a little high, but at least it wasn't 188.

I was tagged by Naked to do another meme. What's in your Fridge? Seems simple enough. I didn't think of it as a big deal until I posted this picture. I feel really exposed. Leftovers, beer, soda. Who put that food there? Is this how I fuel my body?

I won't spread this meme, but I would be really interested to see what's in your fridge.*

*Especially the fridges of Iron Benny & Nytro, DCG, Bolder , and soymilk Susie. Umm, that's technically not spreading meme.

beer is a perfectly acceptable fuel for the body. I don't know why you'd deny that. :)

Where'd you hide all the Diet Coke? I KNOW it's in there.

I have a container of grapefruit juice, a rotten head of lettuce, and a 6-pack of Heneiken in my fridge...you are a better woman than I. Hence the reason I don't have youngsters...they'd starve...or be drunk all of the time:)

What happened to all the organization? I went and looked at your new shoes yesterday at Run On. Very nice, I want some but only because they are shiney orange!

ok, on Friday, i went grocery shopping for the first time since approximately Dec 1st, around the time I turned off Word Ver.

I spent $253.

What would you like to see, what Bold's empty fridge usually looks like after he eats all of the $253 in two days, or, the fully stocked today version?

Or, even better, was this admission that I'm a typical bachelor satisfactory, and no one wants to see THOSE kinda pics on my blog -- if you know what i mean.

are you weening yourself off the diet coke with diet 7-up or what?

I love it and your new shoes, both pairs. Nice feet too, us runners usually don't have such nice toes. I would have to hid the pre-made cookie dough in my fridge!

Can I cheat and just post about the comments here? Coincidentally, I cleaned out my fridge BEFORE I read your post AND we went shopping today.

Contents:
Soy Milk (2), 1 gallon of skim milk, 20 eggs, 1 bottle of wine (that has been in there for probably 3 years and I don't drink), spinach, walnuts, deli meats (for the non-vegetarians), deli cheese, shreaded cheese, broccoli, breads, bagels, several different varieties of coffeemate creamer, salsas, pesto sauce (I love this stuff!), misc. sauces, several condiments, coffee, pineapple slices, etc etc etc. The freezer is way too full to describe and I might put your readers to sleep so I'll stop already.

Nice run! It sounds like you are on your way to recovery finally!

You know, that's the most interesting meme I've seen! I may have to post a pic of our messy, STUFFED fridge. Of course we went grocery shopping today so it's REALLY stuffed.

Great run this morning!!

I had to clean my fridge before I left town-my sister in laws kid was babysitting for us-worse thing: the leftover homemade pasta from the marathon-in October! How did that get lost in there? Then about 17 cartong of cream cheese from stopping for bagels with the kids. Cream cheese soup anyone?
