Wednesday wishes do come true

No shooting stars, maybe it was the full moon, but I ran well today. Ran the same Quail Run killer hill training loop. I improved my time. 5.5 miles - average pace: 9:17 per mile. Go me.

Ok, so now for some non-running updates:

Kenza's eye: Doctor said she was healing well. I still catch her watching TV with one hand over her injured eye. That pupil is getting smaller, but still slightly oval. We go back to the doctor in 6 months.

Cleanse: not much to report. I stopped it for a while before the half. I'll be starting it up again soon. My intestines will thank me.

Shopping: Susan has neglected her shopping duties. This weekend will be full of bags and boxes of gifts - all for others, of course. Oh, but how those black satin pants are still seducing me - and so are those strappy gold heels. We'd be so good together. Let us add a shimmery tank while we are lusting.

Weight: UGH- 130. My ankles were sore running today. This is always a sign that I've put on a few extra pounds. I guessed 3 while I was running, but the damn bitch Tanita said 4 when I got home. My sugar addiction gets the best of me this time of year. I LOVE SUGAR. I have, however, managed to minimize the adult beverages - always a challenge at holiday parties.

Summer tan: Faded. Heliotherapy is so good for the soul. Sigh.

"Susan has neglected her shopping duties."

What kind of woman are you? Where are your priorities? Happy Friday!

Most people have no idea that I really am a sorority girl, not a rich one though unless you count my friends and family as wealth!! hahaha, how funny!! Great job on the run, I am lying in bed hacking away waiting for my Dr. appointment at 3:30!! I am pretty sure she will not let me run for awhile. My lungs hurt when I lay flat on my back!! Yikes, guess I should have taken more time off!! I thought I was healthy though!! Oh well!!

I seem to remember you joining some kind of service sorority your freshman year at BSU. Not the same thing at all, I know, but I think that negates your membership in the GDI frat.

Shopper Susan still needs to shop for Sister Amy. Sister Amy finished her shopping almost two weeks ago. (And your last gift is on it's way, shall I ship it or keep it until you get here?)

Maybe your ankles are sore from
1. The boot camp stuff for calves and ankles.
2. The jewerly fairy making them sore. Gotta have a cool ankle thing to gowith the gold strapie shoes.
3. You ran so fast, your ankles are in a different time zone. :)

Yowzers, I had to go back in the archives to see what happened to your baby... It gave me a weird *hey-my-feet-are-flying-in-the-air* feeling. So glad that she's doing better!

I hear you on the shopping duties. I have HAVE to go tomorrow... I'd rather have tacks stuck in the palms of my hands. Or crawl buck naked over broken glass... You get the point :) I just don't want to go to the mmmm-mmmmaaaaaa-mmmmmmaaaaalllllllll. Mall, there I said it.

Get the pants and the shoes. Anything I obsess over that much needs to be mine, is my rule. If I leave the store and I'm still thinking about it over dinner? I go back. End of story. :)

GO YOU! that's impressive, the results from your hard work...

Kenza really reminds me of someone, even though I've never met her, guess that apple didn't fall far from the tree...

I was all for the shimmery tank, til I read Cliff's comment, now, um, not so much...

Susan, so will you be shopping for new minister robes? Gold strappy heels would go lovely with and all black ensemble. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Glad to hear Kenza is doing better. And of course that RAZR is for you (to look at).

Shopper Susie has been showing such restraint this year. Those black satin pants do sound perfect for an upcoming event, though. Hmmmm.

9:17 miles? Very nice. When's Austin? February?
Why does K. cover her eye watching TV? Does it hurt somehow?
Did anything change between cleansing and non-cleansing times? Maybe I don't want to know.
So long as you're shopping, I want an ipod nano. Please Santa.
Who the heck is Tanita anyway?

Great run! For being so speedy I say you DESERVE the pants and shoes. And some sweets. Screw Tanita and her numbers. She's wrong, I know it.

I had to go back to your archives to get the low down about Kenza's an eye doctor I find it incredulous that she had a hyphema that size by a zipper. I have boxers and gymnasts as patients that don't get hyphemas like that. That zipper musta been traveling with some seriuos weight behind it.
I hope she heals fast :)
