I wish it were my favorite number, but not today. I ran seven miles this morning, average pace: 10:09 per mile. I'm a little disappointed with that time, but Mother Nature was taking her revenge on my reproductive organs and I forgot to take pain relievers. Sigh.

Miles one & two were hard. Three has always been the beginning of my favorite miles. I felt somewhat strong miles three through six. Although, I must say, seven was very, very hard - this slow mile made my average pace over ten minutes - eh. Finishing time 1 hr, 11 min and 3 seconds.

The only thing that makes this female situation marginally more bearable is the fact that I just made my designer blush by using the term "reproductive organs."

Sorry to hear that... seems somedays that running is not only hard by itself when it is. You are strong, running like that for seven miles!!!
You know this still happens, let's say once a week.
You see? Thank God it wasn't a race day!!!
I love to see your smile while running in that photo!! It is a very good one!!! Who took it?? You also look like flying!!

I usually find that running makes me feel better one those oh so evil days. Even if it is rough.

Hope you feel better!

ugh cramps are the worst, but...running does sometimes help. if not, then resort to chocolate, macaroni and cheese, and french fries. that's sure to cure it. and, 7m is great...way more than i'm going to do today, despite oh-so-good intentions!

GO SUSAN!! I could do seven miles in about 4 hours (that's with all the rest stops I would have to take!)

PMS sucks!

Whew! I am glad I made it to your post before you had 30 comments on it already. By that point I feel like what else is there possibly left to say. Just messen with ya. You ran 7 more miles than I did today.

You're seven today sounds about as fun as my eight yesterday.... only difference is, I would have been ECSTATIC to have just over a 10-minute mile instead of my usual 12-min mile for anything more than four miles.

I am so jealous of your 7. It snowed like !CA-RAZE! here in Ohio (See Elizabeth and CurlySu's pages for some snowy pics). So I didn't run today. I didn't even get on my dreadmill because I was so depressed over the snow.

I haven't heard from Strewth but I know she has been snowed under at work and has been working some very late nights lately. I'm sure she'll surface soon. She'll be very excited when she discovers she has a new header though so thanks!!!!!

Hi ##NAME##,
I was just passing looking for Artritis pain relief links on the blogger site and found your ##TITLE## blog. Your blog was not quite what I was looking for, but I enjoyed my visit all the same.
