Ridden with disease

Rob the Runner has infected me. Here are five random facts about me –
  1. I go through obsessions constantly, picking them up and then dropping them when I’ve lost interest.
  2. I’m an ordained minister. A long story for another day.
  3. My occupation is not as a graphic designer – I just play one on Blog TV.
  4. Most people think I am a sorority girl, rich bitch until they meet me. Oh, how soon they know better.
  5. I don’t understand, and am disturbed by, the obsession men have with Rachel Ray.
I’ve had my vaccinations, so I am not contagious.*

*I'm tagging the people I know this torments the most and that are most likely not going to do "the 5 random facts": Amy, Sarah, Linda, Kate - oh, and maybe Zara the Pirate Girl.

Thanks for playing along Susan. I can't say I have an obsession with Rachel Ray, but I do have one with Paula Radcliff and Deena Kastor, is that scary?

I've had quite a few of my own obsessions. And, you know, you've got to tell the long story now.

Hey Susan.
Tell me - as someone who's run it -how is the Dallas marathon? I'm thinking of it, coz it's good timing and I have rellies in your neck of the woods I could stay with. Where I'll be over the upcoming xmas weekend as a matter of fact! Perhaps I'll pass you running on the sidewalk?
PS - you must tell us the ordained minister story immediately!

(Blogger ate TWO of my entries.)
So, as I was saying, since you're an ordained minister, and I currently want to be a monk (few little problems with that goal) we need to talk!

and p.s. you owe one more fact since #3 is what you are not. No fair!

Ackkkk. My husband thinks Rachael Ray is hot too! When he is flipping channels and he comes across her show he sort of pauses and I have to tell him...continue on honey. But what is even stranger is my Dad thought Martha Stewart was hot....BLAH

1. I hope your blogging and running obsession doesn't die before mine.
2. Do you do confessions?
3. So the header you did for my blog is a graphic mirage?
4. Damn, my image of you just went out the window. I was plotting a way to get at all your money.
5. Rachel Ray is not hot. She is a woman though, so that still qualifies her for a fair amount of attention.

Rachel Ray would never let me in the kitchen. I want to mess up her hair.

I don't understand the RR obsession either. She is like a deranged Energizer bunny in the kitchen. I'm like, "take a breath, lady!"

I don't even know who Rachel Ray is...I had to google her. Not that impressed.

So, do tell. A minister? What denomination? I am not sure I could have guessed that in 2 million years.

Makes a post of yours I read once even more know the one where you said "f-ity, f, f"!

energizer bunny is exactly my description of RR - didn't know men had obsessions with her - another reason to be cheerful not to have cable!!!!

I am interesting in the ordained minister story...tell all!

A Minister in a push-up bra from Victoria's Secret. Now that would be funny. So how does this tie in with the obsession thing?

Nice job on the run today!! You are getting speedier...LOOK OUT!

You're not a graphic artist? You play a GREAT one in blogland.

Ditto everyone else, you MUST share the minister story! I'm thinking it was one of those situations you only see on TV where someone is getting married, the minister is a no show and you went online to be ordained super fast.

#1 is so totally me. I find that after I abandon an obsession, I pick up the pieces and incorporate them into my life and move on. Sometimes.

Congrats on the good run.
