Better today and spoiled too

We had a wee little bit of sleet last night - so nearly the entire city of Dallas shut down. Silly Southerners. Giggle. Kenza and I slept until 6AM. Yippee, that’s 4 days of sleeping in and being lazy for Susan.

Unfortunately, that time is over.

I headed to the gym around lunch time and did 30 min on the treadmill (Yuk) and upper body weights and abs. I then headed to the pool and swam for 30 minutes, or rather; I splashed a lot and attempted to do something that resembled swimming for 30 minutes.* I then followed this with some stretching in the hot tub. The only way to stretch if you ask me. Oh, and lastly, I spent 15 minutes in the eucalyptus steam room.

Mediocre intensity, very tight hams and calves and general overall achiness - but I certainly put an end to my lazy streak - even if the putting in itself were lazy.

*Rgirl - please note my proper semicolon usage.

Sounds like the fever's gone...?
Hope you're feeling better. Don't rush to get 50 miles though!

Susan, love, improper semincolon use.

But it doesn't matter because you're a rock. I'm so in awe that you got up and worked out. I'd have headed straight for that eucalyptus steam room.

Improper semicolon user...poor girl. I myself am comma impaired. I sprinkly them, liberally, throughout my writings. I like to add them where I think they look pretty...sort of like a garnish! Lazy, Ha, that is not a word I would use to describe you...eccentric, obsessive, funny, STRONG....but not LAZY.

Raingirl already said it so I guess I don't need to correct it too.

You could, however, put a disclaimer about poetic license, then you're free to use punctuation any way you'd like.

I totally agree, I love stretching in the hot tub. Congrats on breaking out of the funk. Good to have you back.

30 minutes on the yukmill; 30 minutes of wet semicolon slapping; an unknown duration of stretching; and 15 minutes in the steamer.
That's 75-90 minutes. Did you shower? Eat anything? Have a martini or two? What kind of lunch break do you get over there in Texas? Are you near Mexico where a siesta fits into the middle of the day? I thought you were from Indiana. I ... oh never mind.
I'm glad you're back out there getting unjiggly.

See! ... I was right "Never listen to your body" .... Have you ever lay in bed when everthing is absolutely quiet and heard your body make a sound that made you think to yourself "gee that was cute", or even rolled over and said to Mr Susan "Shut up I want to hear your body noises!"?

You probably don;t realise this, but there aren't that many people that would regard 6am as sleeping in.
