I've got Coldplay tickets! Mwa! I know you're jealous.

Have yet to run today - plan on easy 5 miles tonight. I want to put in 40 miles this week. With the T-day break, I have no excuse. Kenza is spending the holiday with her father*. Michael and I are planning a little winery tour near Austin on Saturday and Sunday. That should be fun and provide me with a little hill training as well.

I'm just excited about my Coldplay tickets, even if I have to wait until February. That's really the only thing I have to blog about today.

*Approuve, je mords ma langue - mais, faire le français vraiment célèbre d'action de grâces ? Huh, vraiment ?

So the Martini Cleanse is 2 days old and you're already planning a Wine Cleanse?

Sounds fun.

no problem Flatman, i am canadian, let me step in,

*ahem*, Susan says:

Approve, I bite my language, but make the French truly celebrate Thanksgiving. Huh, really?

no need to thank me, i'm here to help...

This is what Babelfish says that you wrote in French:

Approves, I bite my language - but, to make really famous French of thanksgiving? Huh, really?

So, I have no idea what you are trying to say.

It's nice that you are excited about Coldplay. I'm not a fan. But if you had Greenday tickets, I'd be humping your leg.

Gimme a break –I’m actually only fluent in French while I’m intoxicated. Besides, being sarcastic in French is harder than one would think - what I meant to say is "I approve, but I’m biting my tongue, do the French really celebrate thanksgiving? huh, really?" I also don’t know how to correctly put those accenty marks on the letters.

You would think after once being married to a Frenchman I would have this language down - but apparently not. And THAT was also said with much sarcasm and squinty eyes!

Bolder, my deepest apologies for butchering your native language.

Flatman, Kenza’s eye is much better – although she still looks like a spawn of Satan.

And Amy - I'm never going to a Greenday concert. Ever.

As for the French celebrating Thanksgiving, it's about the same as non-Christians celebrating Christmas.

Does that ring a bell for anyone, Suzie?

And Greenday totally rocks.

Hmm...of course French doesn't have thanksgiving. From the way they eat, isn't everyday like Thanksgiving meal?? :)

Have fun at Coldplay. Me not such a big fan. Just like their song Yellow.

Greenday yes, Sister humping leg NO.

Coldplay is awesome. Greenday is passe (imagine an accent A-goo above the "e"). I have two tickets to the September concert in Tampa they had to cancel due to "throat conditions." Now they'll play right here in Orlando so I'm trading in my fourth row Tampa tickets for some primo Orlando tickets (it helps to know people in right [Ticketmaster] places).

Let's hear more about those 40 miles. It's Tuesday already!

Susan, on behalf of the french population of Canada, and my french father, but not my british mother, I feel there is only one proper thing to be said:

mon crayon est gros et jaune

I am just killing myself laughing reading all these comments.

Glad to see the links are restored, Susan. Hope they didn't cause too much angst.

How do you say that in French?

Happy thanks giving.

The french don't celebrate anything, they just give up before the holiday arrives.

Low, I know. 8-)

I am jealous. I have to drive more than 3 hours to see a good concert. I'm holding out for (don't laugh) INXS in February. Love Coldplay though!
