I am an addict . . .

It is true, I am a blogaholic. Isn't that the first step to recovery?

Thank you to everyone for the encouraging comments and suggestions yesterday. I have decided to run the half, but . . . I'm going to think of it as a training run (or at least try to.) It's hard for me, my PR in a half marathon is 1:50. But that was 15 years and 15 lbs ago. I will do my best - run, walk or crawl to the finish like - I will do it and blog it like the addict I am.

Jittery Update to post: brought all running stuffs for running during lunch break . . . get mostly dressed and realize that I forgot my jogbra . . . bad me . . . ok, so I've taken this muscle fuel stuff and now I'm not running and it seems like my heart might explode . . . hmmm, this could be a problem . . . i thinks i will head over to the sport store and grab a bra and run from there . . .

Good decision on the half. Crawling builds character.

I think you have to be addictive to love running. I am sure you will do well if you put your mind to it!

After reading all those comments we all do sound like Moms :) Haha. Easy for us to say don't do it when most of us would be towing the line also.

You are tough! Good Luck with the half!

HEY! They have grape flavored water but that doesn't make it grape juice!!!

LOL

I was laughing even harder when Susan asked me if I wanted join her for her lunch run. I offered to follow her in my car. I wonder why she declined.

I'm an addict too...i've been waiting all day for your post! I'm leaving in an hour and won't have access to a computer for almost 48 hrs. Aaaagggghhhhh! Hope the run went well today and your half is even better. I'm assuming the need for a jogbra means you don't compare yourself with the lactating chimpanzee you spoke of last week???

Hey, tell us (or just me, ha!) what kind of jog bra you bought, please? I have 5 or 6 of the bastar... I mean contrap... I mean... oh forget it. Let's just say I like none of them and need recommendations from another midwestern girl.

Glad you decided to do the half, you will be fine, I'm sure of it.

It sucks to be so ready to run and then realize you will bounce all over the place. Been there. Hope you managed to get the run in!

Your blog always makes me want to add more mileage. I am jealous of the lunch runs. That seems like a true plan b/c you avoid a large lunch and you get the run done. I am trying really hard to do morning work outs. I need to try harder. Your daughter is such a ham for the camera. Sorry to hear about the headaches. I hope they get better. How is the nano? Did you get an armband for it?

I have done that several times. Whether it is forgetting the bra, the socks, the headband, etc.....it just throws a wrench in the whole flow of things!

Good decision on the 1/2. You will be fine. I'm concerned about the muscle stuff you took today that made your heart pound.....

That's a good way of looking at the 1/2 mara. Just a training run.

After the marathon, the 21 km do seem like a run around block jog :D

Hello, My name is Tammy, and I am a run-aholic. It's been....7 hours since my last run (insert round of applause here).

I know I am an addict. Today I said, "I don't think I'll run today... it's too crappy out." Then, I changed into my running gear and ran 4 miles before I even realized I was running. ha! :)
