Early morning run

This morning was a 6 mile run - 60 min. Nice and easy tempo. It felt really great. My butt doesn't hurt that much from buttcamp yesterday. It was freezing this morning - the coldest day I've run in this year, only 28 degrees with a slight wind. I over-dressed on the top and under-dressed on the bottom. I didn't believe the 'dress the runner' on runnersworld.com this morning. I had 4 layers on top and only tights on bottom. I'll distribute evenly next time.

I have to admit it was better than the on the hottest day I ran in this year - 105 degrees this August. It was scary, I looked like the incredible hulk when I finished. I worried about popping a much needed artery. An 86 year old woman in support hose beat me that day - good for her. I certainly hope I can do that when I'm 86. Oh well, I bet I poop better than her.

Weight is down another 1/2 pound - I'm at 128.4. Tanita says 30.4% body fat - She's easing up a little.

I think we're in the midst of the cold front that brought you the cooler weather.

It was 60 degrees when I ran this morning and it's 52 now.

I'm glad it's not 28...I'm a cold weather sissy.

that's cold - it's like 72 degrees here today in NJ - freeeeeky!

I prefer running in cold to running in heat. I sometimes like running in the rain - but not the dark and the rain. I hate wet feet.

Brrr...I couldn't drag my frozen ass out of bed for running in that yet...

My wife did comment that: "how in the hell are you going to run a marathon in December, if you can't run in November???"

Smark-alleck!

(you said poop again)

You are going to have to change your blog to "pooper-susan". I can't wait to see the new header! HA! :)

On any other blog, all those mentions of poop would have scared away the audience by now. I'm still trying to figure out what's different about yours.

I *always* overdress...thinking I'm too cold but then sweating like a pig. I'm determined not to do that this year. Good job on the weight:)

Pooper Susan. Now there's a title! I couldn't drag my ass out of bed this morning. At 4 a.m. it was 19 degrees. Some 70 year old woman wearing a long skirt and a pair of 50-year old Sauconys beat me in a 10k! AND then her 50 year old son passed me the last mile. That was a sad sad day in Mia's racing history.

Only person I know who can post constantly about poop and still get away with it.

Incidentally, this is a comment.
