Buttcamp, a tempo run and so much more

It certainly is time that I get serious about my training. I've been doing a lot of fluff posting lately and the Austin M is only 95 days away. I need a plan and I need to print it off and stick it on my fridge - must have some structure. I know this about myself - If I don't do it in the morning, it won't get done. My alarm hasn't gone off before 5am in a LONG time. Today, it went off at 4:30 am for buttcamp. My butt hurts and its about time. Buttcamp was hard this morning and i'm afraid tomorrow I will pay even more. Lunchtime workout is a scheduled 2.5 tempo and a 2.5 easy run.

For only those interested - day 5 colon cleansing update - please proceed with caution.*
First off, my stomach is flatter than it's been in years. By no means supermodel flat, but for me - flatter is better than not flat at all. That makes me happy. I'm down 1.5 lbs and I'm pretty sure it's all poop. I've pooped more in the past five days than I have in the past 5 months. I'm feeling pretty good - day 4 was headaches and rumbles. Today, I have so much energy. Perhaps there is more to this organ and colon cleansing that I thought. Hmm, I so hate to admit when Michael is right. Tanita still says 31% body fat - eh.

*Some not-so-pretty things you should know about me - I use too many dashes, dots and apostrophes. Besides running and my family, I talk a lot about my weight, my diet, my dogs, my poop, and my boobs. I'm a hypochondriac, a shopaholic and a terrible speller.

You rock! I admire your honesty. Wish I was doing Austin just so I could run with you and Flatman. I need some of that colon stuff. We should hurt Tanita!

TMI...! Just kidding. Glad everything is "working itself out".

I should probably do this as well...sigh.

Great job on getting up early for the buttcamp. I stayed up too late watching the Cowboy game to get up and run this morning...

A spellchecker could help you with the spelling. It certainly helps me when I'm using it. As for your other faults: they just make you a real person.
Er - thanks for the detailed update ... I think

A plan is always a good thing to help with the motivation. You've loads of time for marathon training! As easy(ish) route to a flatter stomach is always a nice thing!

I think there is a link between a endurance athlete and poor spelling. Must be something in the genes. B/c I am a terrible speller too.

I think I will try to colon cleanser too (after I finish b-feeding). I normally just drink a lot of milk (I’m lactose intolerant) to flush my system. But that only lasts an hour. Hmmm…5 days+ of heavy pooping. Would I have enough baby wipes? I think I would ruin the sewage system.

You forgot to mention several other things about yourself:
You are addicted to Starbucks
You are addicted to food
You are addicted to work **ROFLMAO**

PS. GO COWBOYS – That was a wonderful 4th quarter. I had given up hope as I was about to turn my TV off and depart for bed. But then, they stopped playing flag football and started playing professional football. I was so happy.

I'm glad the colon cleansing stuff is working. That sort of an odd concept for me, but I'm glad it's working for you.

I'm like you, I've got to have a schedule to follow or else it's too easy to talk myself out of a workout.

Seeing as I thoroughly taking "the duece" as we call them, I am tempted to try this.

Looks like I'm going to have order a few more books though, with all this new reading time it's going to create.

I really admire your honesty. I normally just hide behind the phrase 'personal stuff' and leave it at that. Yes, I'm a chicken ;-)

I hope Satan doesn't hear about buttcamp !

Oh, I forgot to say, I'm glad Kenza is doing better. What an ordeal that must have been. It's amazing how well the body heals itself...

There's our favorite girl - doing all the things that make us glad to tune in and read all about her. You ARE the hottest blog on the web.
At my race this weekend I chatted up a woman racing in her "Triks" (made by addidas) and told her all about my friend in Dallas who was looking at the Triks line. It was her first race in them and she was happy for the compliment I paid her. They are way more flattering than the usual shorts.

Hi Susan
I like the sound of that flat stomach but it sounds a scary way to get there, how do you run on an empty stomach? - better than CJ's killer abs though! I love your banner too and the one you did for CJ - awesome!

Ok, now go rent The Nutty Professor with Eddie Murphy, watch the scene with the family at the dinner table-there is a lot of "colon clensing" in the scene. We laughed so hard we couldn't hear it all and had to rewind-2x

Oh, I just got the "buttcamp" part-ok a little, that's hilarious
