OMG - back to work and back to school. I'm frightened by my email. My normal schedule is back - or at least the modified version. I think thats good - we'll see.

I've seen these during some of my races - anyone out there worn these? TRIKS? They look cute, but do they function well?

welcome back to normality Susan - are we the only people working today - it's a state holiday in NJ but our grinch boss won't give it to us!

I haven't worn those triks yet - and certainly won't be doing so until next spring. I do wear the skorts at Terry bicycles and love them.

Thankfully I have not worn any of those triks, but I do remember in my 100 miler there was a very striking young gal wearing the pink skirt and some kind of top. I was having a real difficult time when she passed me around mile 30, but she sure got me moving again. I didn't want to let her out of my sight.

I have seen some runners wearing something similar. I haven't tried them either, but agree they look really cute. Might make me feel less self-conscious than regular shorts.

Hey Susan, glad to hear that things are getting back to normal. I have thought about getting a TRIKS skirt - it is Nicole DeBoom's company that created/marketed them. She is a former swimmer from Yale, and a kick-ass triathlete. I don't think I am girly enough to wear one, though.

Hey Susan. I think I got the legs for those skirts as well. There is such thing as a normal schedule? I am intrigue with this 'normal schedule'.

I'd wear them to cover up the jiggly bits (ie my entire ass area). I haven't seen them here in Canada anywhere, but I'd be willing to try them out.

I might show up to White Rock if Flatman was going to wear them and I agree with Bolder that we should strongly support women to wear these. The local Y and the president of our run club is thinking about doing a red dress run next year to raise money for partners for youth. Perhaps we could also make it a pink skirt run.

They look nice, if you try them let us know to buy some, running in a skirt sounds some... strange.

I would show up at White Rock to see Flatman wear a running skirt. I'm getting one for Houston. I talked to a girl who ran a 1/2 in a Triks and said it was uber-comfortable. I'm sold.

I think that you'll look absolutely marvelous in the Triks. Now tell us where you'll be running in them so those of us with taste for high fashion can be there to admire.

agree that you'd look marvelous in those. for some reason though, and maybe it's the feminist in me, the idea of running in a skirt seems so, oh, hard to explain, sort of, well, girlie (sexist? no. but something like that). i mean, i'm all about the girlieness but maybe seems less hardcore. maybe it's just me. or maybe it's cause i have yet to try a pair on.
