100 things about me?

  1. I'd actually rather cut off my fingers than sit down and type 100 things about me, so you'll get 28
  2. I'm only doing this cause it's 3:36 AM and I'm wide awake - I'd much rather be sleeping
  3. I just ordered An Autobiography of George Washington: With Edith Ellis as Scribe because I *am* really a dork
  4. I'm a Hoosier, I moved to Texas 8 years ago
  5. I think Bob Knight should have stayed in Indiana
  6. I hate out and back race courses
  7. I have a tendency to embellish
  8. I adore my daughter
  9. I want to always stay attractive and strong for my husband (and myself)
  10. My grandfather, uncle and dad were in the military - and yet I feel I know very little about it
  11. I don't like Executive Susan
  12. I'm perpetually early and late people make me insane
  13. I'm a horrible driver
  14. I think the world needs more nice people
  15. I go to bed early and wake early
  16. I like capital letters in sentences (sarah and jeff are exceptions because they are so cool, but I draw the line when they stop using punctuation)
  17. I think it rocks that I can run 6-7 miles *before* work
  18. I have no ability to use profanity in real life but I blog it occasionally
  19. I actually blog a lot of things that I would never say in my real world (sort of)
  20. I love red wine and gin martinis, but not much else (alcohol wise)
  21. If I like your blog I'll read the archives
  22. My dad had a heart attack 1 year ago and it still makes me cry
  23. Some of my friends are very strange, but I love them anyway
  24. I have a soft-spot for writers, artists and athletes
  25. I've wanted to run the Boston Marathon since I ran track in high school but didn't start running again until I was 33
  26. I have never given anyone a lap dance, not even my spouse
  27. I am almost debt free and it was *REALLY* hard for Shopper Susan
  28. I wear a Victoria Secret push-up bra because I can - and I love it

Suzie lies not. She is a terrible driver. Being in a vehicle with her frightens me.

Oh, and that "tendency to embellish" thing - that's a HUGE understatement. You know how sometimes the line between reality and fiction gets blurred a little bit? I think someone occasionally erases Suzie's line.

Our dad's heart attack was at my son's first birthday party. HAPPY BIRTHDAY COLE - Grandpa's on his way to the ER!

4. Hey my parents are both Hoosiers, Winchester and Muncie.
9. I hope you want to stay attractive and strong for YOURSELF too.
20. You only love red wine and gin martinis? I take it you were just talking about alcohol.

OK, I hardly ever use CAPITAL letters, except in my blog. But, shout out to Susan, you are funny, smart, talented, athletic, and generous. Feel free to use those last four attributes in a sentence 'I am ________' to get you to at least 33.

Love this!! Makes me feel somewhat normal when I see how nutty we all really are!
Do you think VS will give the running blog family group a discount if enough of us buy that bra?????
Looking forward to the next time you're up in the middle of the nite so you can complete the list!

My dad died of a heart attack when I was 12. It's hard for me to think about it now more than 14 years later.

I agree with you on 6, makes no point...or races where you do loops, drives me crazy, all these roads/paths out there and you are going to makes us run the same thing twice???.

As for 26, perhaps the next time you decide to have a "hang over" like a few weeks ago, give it a try, might be a nice little surprise for your hubby.

9: you mention this in your profile as well, but it always kind of bugged me. if not for your husband, you'd be happy being a fat slob? i'm with "zeke" - you should stay attractive for yourself (as well)!

28: "because I can". what are the criteria for being able to wear a VS push up bra? (is it just having breasts?)

29-100: i wouldn't even make it as far as you did...

We have at least two things in common:

1) I was once in debt. I'm a reformed compulsive buyer.
2) I've never given anyone a lap-dance either. ;)

Where in IN are you from?

I hear you about being early & stuff. I am always early. It's like a bad habit. I HATE when people are late though & my husband almost always is. It's so aggarvating.

I am very close to being debt free but I still love to shop. It feels good know the only debt I have is a mortgage.

Hi Susan,

I found your blog through Sharon 'A Girl Running' (she actually inspired me to think about running) So now I jog/slow walk around the place. I am hoping to finish the Melbourne half marathon next October and the Marathon 1-2 years after that.

Love the list...what is a Hoosier?
