Feel like poop.

I've still exhausted from the marathon. I don't know why I'm not recovered yet. I tried to go out for an easy 5 miler yesterday and didn't get very far, my body was shakey - felt like my blood sugar was low even though I've done nothing but stuff my face lately. I did do about 4 hour's worth of yard work beforehand - but even so - I should not have been so tired.

I ended up picking up my bike - Kenza and I rode an easy 7 miles. I was completely wiped out when we were finished. I'm going to rest today - I'm still shakey this morning. I hope I'm not coming down with something.

Hi Susan, I missed you a lot this days when you didn't post. I hope you recover your energy soon, maybe eating well could improve you state, forget about diet now and eat as much fruits and vegetables as you can. When I read that you were out on satuday before the marathon, and still the way back home with out eating is maybe the thing that is making you to taking longer to recover, but that's it. You are a winner, a marathonist, you can deal with anything.

Hope you feel better soon, your body is probably just telling you it needs a break.

Hey great header!! I hope you feel better soon too!! I notice you are not logging your food. It might make a difference!! I took all of last week off except an easy 2 miler on Friday. I was still shaky too!! I will see you in the morning at 5am. I invited a friend and told Richard, but that is all. I figured it might be fun to have more people!!

Listen to your body. It needs rest...and food. Good food.

Hi Susan - ditto as to all the previous comments. You just accomplished a huge task, and your body still needs some pampering. Take care. You'll be pounding the pavement soon enough!

Hmmm...let's see ....you just did a marathon!!!!! ....and you knocked so much time off! Taking a break is not a bad thing....and 4 hours of yard work absolutely counts as working out!

I know I'm repeating what everyone else has said but its true...you've run a marathon and sometimes it takes time to recover. Besides what's the rush. So kick back and take it easy.

By the way, where, or how, do you get those great headers (banners?) - I want to update mine but don't know what to do.
