Back to the real world

I'm still a little foggy today - and tired - but, training must resume tomorrow with an easy 3-4 mile run.

ok, my food log for the day - since no workout today, my goal is to only consume 1,500 calories.
Breakfast - 1/4 c egg beaters w/ salsa, 1/2 avacado, coffee w/ cream - 390 calories. Snack: small hershey dark chocolate 45 calories, diet coke. ---> 435 cal so far. Lunch: veggie italian sub, diet coke --> 985 calories so far --> 1 bx snack chex, 1/2 tall pumpkin latte -->1335 cal . . . not looking good.

I know I do not have a weight problem (Thin Trade) but I do have my ups and downs within a 10 pound range. I have found it all comes down to portion control. I sure love a good meal and don't always stop to think to stop eating if it's in front of me; but I realize that when I go through a spell of eating leftovers, Lean Cuisines, Beer & Nuts or whatever scraps are lying around, my intake drops and so does my weight. If I had to calorie count I'd never have time to blog.

I don't know how you handle to acomplish eating only 1500 cal a day!! I can't go shorter than 1800 but not on running days.... you are a marathoner shure you will do it!!

I am tapering right now. I don't count my calories but i am sure i am eating about 3000 calories a day.

At work from 9 - 5 I don't stop eating. I guess I am pay to eat :).

I love to eat and live for Saturday which is my food free day!!!! I am a good compliant diabtetic M-F but NOT on Saturday...on Sunday I startpulling it back together and by Monday...wa la...a good diabetic.
However I am careful about what I choose on Saturday because I am not going to waste my calories on stupid stuff..I save em for the big deadly delicious stuff...like a earthquake from the DQ or Pepe's fried icecream..ymmmm or sometimes I go on a cereal frenzy (like last weekend) and eat nothing but Golden Grahams...last weekend I ate an entire box of Golden Grahams(BIG BOX)...This weekend I am GOING to control my food!!!!Finally got new pictures posted!!!! Have a great day!
