25 days until the Chicago Marathon

Posted on the Chicago Marathon site: The Medical Staff will have the right to withdraw any runners from the race who appear in distress or at risk should they continue running.

Should I be worried, I always look like I need pulled from a race.

All the race directors like to scare you like that. F 'em. You paid your good money to run and they can just keep their midwest hands off you as you scoot through the streets of Chi-town. After heat training in D there's no way Chicago will distress you.

Hi Susan!
PF better but not healed. Am going to work on blog this weekend...I have some pictures to of poor sad Kim prior to the YMCA and diabetic diet. It is 4:41 am and I am suffering because I am scooting out the door to go to the gym and no coffee! I need coffee bad! When I walk past our coffee shop downtown on my way to work I swear my legs practically buckle from the smell.
As for a tortured look...that is my usual I am exercising hard look...My husband said the first time I did a 5k I looked like I was in the throes of death...and you know what I felt like it to too!

The Big D (Texas Marathon) was ok. No expo, no cheering crowds. The route is pretty. They need to organize it a bit better. The start went something like this....ok they are getting ready to start....oh I think he just started the race...go. I knew it was going to be downhill from
